We work to match diesel emission reduction projects with upcoming grant opportunities. The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency does not have any direct funding available, but we are experienced in leading successful grant applications.

If you have a project that will reduce diesel emissions and you want to work with us to pursue grant funding, please send us your project information. Potential projects include on or off-road vehicles, rail, or marine diesel engines.

Project priorities: 

• Large, old engines (preferably older than 2012)
• Engines that are used often (preferable daily)
• Engines that operate within areas or close to businesses or communities with high diesel pollution

Grants typically provide incentives similar to rebates that can cover 25 - 60% of the cost of a new electric vehicle or diesel engine replacement.
