Basics
Clean, healthy air is essential to our day-to-day well-being, our long-term health, and the health of our environment. The Clean Air Agency focuses its efforts on reducing air pollutants that pose the greatest health risks to our region – which include heart and lung risks from fine particles, cancer risk from diesel exhaust, and the climate impacts from greenhouse gases.
-
Air Quality Data
The Agency monitors air pollution across King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties. We focus on fine particle pollution because it has the highest health impact. We created tools to help you check levels of air pollution in our region. These tools provide the most recent pollution levels, air quality summaries, and historical information.

Wildfire Smoke
Wildfire smoke carries the same health risks as wood smoke, except there’s much more of it.
-

Check the area's air quality burn ban status, learn more about air quality burn ban protocols, and sign up to receive air quality burn ban notifications.
