Electric Vehicles & Infrastructure Planning

Regional Electric Vehicle Collaborative

The Puget Sound Regional Electric Vehicle (REV) Collaborative is a joint partnership between the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency and Puget Sound Regional Council to prepare the region for an all-electric transportation future.

The REV Collaborative website is designed to help planners and decisionmakers find the resources they need to prepare for the coming wave of electric vehicles, whether that be preparing to install EV chargers, including electrification in updated comprehensive plans or codes, finding the latest funding opportunities, or just to become familiar with the benefits of EVs.

Check out the REV Collaborative resources and sign up for the mailing list to stay informed about workshop opportunities.

Regional Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Plan

The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency is leading the development of a regional electric vehicle charging infrastructure plan for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles. For information about the plan, please visit the project page.

Washington State Transportation Electrification Strategy

The Washington EV Council has developed a statewide Transportation Electrification Strategy (TES) intended to ensure electric vehicle incentives and infrastructure are accessible and available to all people in Washington.

Public Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Playbook

Created by the Joint Office of Energy and Transportation, the Public Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Charging Playbook provides interactive resources to help communities plan and build the infrastructure needed to support a zero-emission transportation system. Communities, planning organizations, local and state governments, tribal nations, and other decision makers can use the guidebook to navigate key considerations for planning and deploying EV infrastructure. The modules include guiding questions, videos, worksheets, and additional resources to drive local progress.

Put the Public Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Charging Playbook to work in your community.
