Technical Tools
We provide several technical tools to help you download and see our data in different detailed formats and timescales.
-
Air Graphing Tool
This is a technical tool to help you look at and download raw air pollutant data across our region and other areas in Washington. Data from the last three months is considered preliminary and could be subject to change based on the quality assurance review.
-
Air Sensor Dashboard
The Air Sensor Dashboard is a collection of web tools that simplifies the process of getting meaningful data from air sensors and our network. These tools include the Community Reporter, which produces summary reports from sensor data, the Purple Air Downloader, which provides QC’d and calibrated Purple Air data, a Surface tool to make smoothed pollution surfaces, and a link to our ceilometer network which helps to see how high pollution is in the air.
-
Air Quality Network Map
This map only shows our core air monitoring network sites. Unlike the Fine Particle Sensor Map, this map is also linked to other pollution types at certain sites—specifically ozone (smog) and nitrogen dioxide. The dot color indicates the latest air quality level for each monitoring station. The larger regions are also shaded colors, based on the day’s expected air quality forecast for that region.
-
Request Air Quality Data
Data requests can be made to provide individual data sets for a given parameter, station, and time span.
-
Wind Rose Tool
Use our wind rose tool to visualize how frequently winds and air pollution come from different directions. Plots can be exported as images for later use.
